Cutting out intros in PO DFF format

I have been receiving Promo Onlys Hot Video Series in DFF format.   I love the drag and drop feature of the mp4 files, but I don't like how PO includes the intros in alot of the videos now with this.   When i got the regular DVD, the intros were an individual track on the dvd so I could just not rip those intros.

So here are my choices.
A.   Go back to reg dvd, rip the tracks and omit the intros and rename all the vob files.
B.   Get a program where I can load the mp4 file and cut out the intro before converting in Ots.
C.   Is this something that I can do once converted over to Ots, cutting out the intros.
D.   Can I mark the video file where I would like to start the video at like a cue point or something in OtsAV.

Any help or other suggestions would be great!

Just edit the ACI intro trim point in Ots Studio - this will effectively cut off the beginning.  Editing the ACI effects the points where the track is played - so the video frames before this point will be cut too.  Don't confuse this with "set first frame" in the VCI chunk - that is for a different purpose.

You will also need to set the intro reference and fade end points.  Here is the link to the help topics on ACI:

The last example is the opposite (removing the end of the track rather than the start), but the principles are the same.

If you want the option of playing both versions, use the "radio edit" approach to create an extra item chunk in the Ots Album file that only has a unique ACI chunk - i.e. the original video and audio data is only stored once.
