Title: Downloading video into ots lab
Post by: mnray on September 05, 2010, 02:58:54 PM
I can't find my print out of instructions and it has been a while since I downloaded video off a dvd.   Do I need to find a software that will separate each track before I go to ots lab?  I normally buy my dvd video from Promo-only in the USA.   Each trach is listed individually, but when I run it through ots lab to download -ots lab puts it in chapter form, that is 1 listed video might have  3 or 5 dvd songs on it.  How do I separate them out so I can play them individually?

I use DVD Shrink to seperate the Videos before importing the DVD to Ots Studio

I use DVD decrypter but it's not officially supported any more. You can still find it on the web if you hunt carefully. Switch it to ISO mode and change the settings to split by chapter and it works fine.

There are instructions on converting video installed with OtsAV. You can find them on the start menu alongside the shortcut to OtsAV.

Have fun,
Darryl

I also use DVD Shrink. It allows you to re-auther the DVD into the separate videos as you require.

I've just started to ude DVD shrink in preparation for me streaming video on the internet.

I must say DVD shrink has to be the most easiest pieces of dvd ripping software i've used.
