The purpose of the login and forum issues forum is to report forum specific issues preventing you from getting logged in, or to fix specific issues in how the forum operates. not sure this applies, however, to me, it IS related

whenever I attempt to post a message, I receive a "database error" and, am instructed to "tell an admin..."

so,, here I am  TELLING AN ADMIN

the message is as follows:

Database Error
Please try again. If you come back to this error screen, report the error to an administrator.

=========================================================

the problem occurs when I click on the "post" button.. this happens EVERY time I attempt to post a message.. the message appears to "go through" however, my link to it is severed.. I have to hit the "home" button and start over from the main menu screen.

I'm sure It will happen on the posting of, even, THIS message hehehe

Yes, it happens to me too, Zath. I haven't made a big deal about it, because Lane, who hosts this site voluntarily, probably has to upgrade the forum software to overcome the problem, so I haven't rattled the can.
